Sunny Days PreschoolOur teachers at Sunny Days Preschool are dedicated to providing a fun, interactive learning environment where children can begin to love learning. We provide a home where children feel comfortable and safe, enjoying the benefits of individualized attention as well as large and small group environments. Our teachers use interactive academic circles, small groups, and one-on-ones to increase knowledge and development.

Our Approach to LearningOur teachers strive to create engaging academic learning opportunities in new and fun ways every day. Each week we focus on a new letter of the alphabet. Children learn the shape of the letter through paint dotting, coloring, tracing, and writing. They learn the sound of the letter through group activities, songs, and chants. Our lessons also involve math, creative arts, and sensory activities.
Our Preschool has two different classrooms, each with a full time Teacher. Our Ladybug classroom is dedicated to the younger children, with our Dragonfly classroom dedicated to our older children. |
Room to PlayAt Sunny Days Preschool, we value children's natural instinct to learn through play! As such, we have many opportunities for learning built right into playtime. We have play-based learning centers for math, science, dramatic play, music, and creative arts, where children can learn all about the world in their own time and through an avenue they love--play!
Our facility also offers a large backyard with play structures, swing sets, a sandbox, and plenty of toys and bikes. On good weather days children play outside one to two times a day, refining gross motor skills and having fun with their friends. On poor weather days, we offer a large indoor play area where children can run around, ride on bikes, and continue to play, sheltered from the weather. |
Enrichment ClassesDuring your child's critical years of growth, their minds are open to so many opportunities to learn and expand. We are proud to offer enrichment classes that aim to create a broader understanding of many different areas. Our enrichment classes include Music and Movement, Art, Spanish, Science, and Cooking! During the week our teachers create opportunities for the children to pick up valuable skills in addition to our main curriculum. These include Spanish vocabulary and phrases, Science experiments meant to engage developmental areas such as problem solving and cause and effect, chances to learn about measurements and food through cooking, and learning about rhythm, beat, and staying active to stay healthy with music!
