Daydreams Infant Toddler Care
Our teachers at Daydreams Infant Toddler Care create an environment where your child is encouraged to grow, learn, and develop their senses. Our home-like environment creates a sense of familiarity and peace, while our loving, knowledgeable teachers enrich your child's experiences with developmentally appropriate songs, games, art activities, stories, and more. Our teachers are extremely capable and educated individuals who love children. Our specialized classes allow your child to interact with others of a similar age, while our spacious playroom and back yard allow interactions with older and younger children. This house is a 'pre-preschool', which allows for a slow and steady introduction to skills your child will need in the future, such as how to sit at a table (instead of a high chair) to eat and do art projects, individual and small-group activities, and introductions to shapes, letters, counting, story time, and fun songs! Our bilingual teachers also include Spanish vocabulary, counting, songs, and immersion!

Encouraging Social GrowthOur teachers strive to create a setting where children feel comfortable learning emotionally, developmentally, and socially. By encouraging positive interactions between children and serving as positive role models, the teachers create situations where your child can learn the best ways to problem solve, resolve conflicts, and interact with others. We practice conflict redirection instead of criticism, and create a safe environment for your child to follow their natural curiosity. We also take the time to acknowledge and teach children to recognize their emotions and learn about how to express themselves appropriately -- whether happy or sad!

Room to PlayAt Daydreams Infant Toddler Care, we value children's natural instinct to learn through play! As such, we have opportunities for development built into our day. Our teachers use songs, games, and free play to encourage learning at your child's own pace. We have recently added a wide variety of educational toys, including color-sorting, magnetic letters, reading corners, and pretend play stations! We strive to create an environment where your child can learn all about the world in their own time and through an avenue they love--play!
Our facility also offers a large backyard with play structures, swing sets, and plenty of toys. Children can play outside, weather permitting, refining gross motor skills and having fun with their friends. |
Our Approach to LearningWe use songs, stories, arts & crafts, and group times to enhance your child's learning experience, while entertaining and engaging your child. We also include educational toys and games, which are incorporated into your child's play, so they are learning color recognition, letter and number familiarity, shape recognition, and more, all while they play!
Our facility has two classrooms, including a toddler room, a 2-3 year old room infant room, and a science and learning room! Our 'pre-preschool' teachers prepare your child for preschool by introducing aspects like group time, reading time, and a focused craft time, as well as introducing concepts such as sitting at a table for meals, instead of in a high chair. |
